Job Description
Trade Marketing Manager

The Job:

  • To have ownership and autonomy to lead the brand strategy and innovation agenda. Scope of work includes brand strategy, NPD, consumer programs and developing advertising creative as per the business plan, ensuring on time and to budget delivery.

Responsibilities:

  • Brand Leadership to Drive Growth
    • Develop and lead brand strategy through insights analysis, marketing plans and total system economics to deliver volume, revenue share and profit growth.
    • Synthesize data across multiple sources (Consumer, Company, Competitor, Customer and external) to develop insights to drive strategy.
    • Responsible for executing the key growth initiatives to deliver the yearly growth and market share targets as identified in the Annual Business Plan.
  • Product Innovation and Commercialization
    • Proactively identify, develop, prioritize and execute effective product, package and merchandising innovation to drive consumer-centric growth opportunities.
    • Effectively engage, communicate and influence other critical functions (Sales, R&D, Manufacturing and Finance) within F&N Dairies to ensure alignment and flawless execution of all identified opportunities.
  • Advertising and Creative Development
    • Identify the strategic objective to drive the required communication strategy.
    • Manage all aspects of the creative development process to deliver highly effective communication that builds brand equity and drives growth and share.
  • Consumer Promotions/ In-store Merchandising
    • Determine promotional and presence strategy, develop and execute promotions to meet brand, consumer and customer objectives.
    • Flawless execution of initiative in term of budget, timing and communication.
  • Media Strategy and Execution
    • Determine media objectives and strategies and manage execution of media elements that will maximize ROP from media investments.
    • Determine appropriate integrated media mix to maximize effective reach.
  • Agency/ Supplier Management
    • Determine media objectives and strategies and manage execution of media elements that will maximize ROP from media investments.
    • Determine appropriate integrated media mix to maximize effective reach.

Job Requirements

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor ’s Degree or Professional Degree in Business or equivalent.
  • Minimum 4 - 6 years of working experience in FMCG industry and brand management.
  • Experience in developing strong cross-functional relationships.
  • Fluent in English for both verbal and written.
  • Technically proficient in data analysis to gain insights for decisions.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills to effectively manage executed projects.
  • Marketing strategy and brand planning skills.
  • Ability to be highly organized yet adaptable to changing circumstances and priorities both quickly and effectively.
  • Strong communication skills and interpersonal skills.
  • Creativity to identify alternative approaches and solutions.
  • Maturity to handle debates involving differences of opinion.
  • A confident manner and the ability to influence and persuade.
  • Digitally savvy in digital space (leveraging digital and social to solve business challenges).
